JT Hall Coliseum Renovation
Moorhead, Mississippi
This project involved significant interior renovations to MDCC’s mid-1970s colisueum to address code upgrades and modernization while creating a new secure concourse.
A primary design goal was to better reflect school spirit through unification of the color scheme, which was not well reflected in the existing coliseum. The intent was to present the building as a recruiting tool for athletics and academics and provide a pleasing environment for assemblies. Materials and systems were chosen for their overall durability, compatibility, energy efficiency and cost effectiveness.
