Wellsprings Center for Professional Futures
Blue Springs, Mississippi
Wellspring Center for Professional Futures is a campus of learning communities for advanced high school education in northeast Mississippi. The center was developed in part through an endowment from the Toyota Corporation, administered by the CREATE Foundation in Tupelo.
The campus serves high school students from three counties (Pontotoc, Union and Lee), including eight area school districts. The campus was designed to be a learning laboratory, with the buildings and landscape co-designed to use the site and environmental elements as educational opportunities.
Beard + Riser served as design architect to prime ArchitectureSouth on this project, in association with Mercier Landscape Architect and educational consultant BrainSpaces of Chicago.
